Capuchin Guntruck (M35A3) from Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for GTA San Andreas by Dark Watcher.

Summary

1. What is the mod?

2. How to install the mod?

3. Notes

1 WHAT IS THE MOD?

The mod is a conversion of Capuchin Guntruck from Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Both the model and the texture are original, taken directly from the game. I did the ripping myself and made sure to assemble the vehicle according to the original parts arrangement seen in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames.

Originally, in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, the truck has two .50 machine guns, one used by the cockpit gunner and the other by the rear compartment gunner. Obviously, in GTA San Andreas, it is not possible to use these.

I added the function of carrying two more passengers in the back. Although this function is not present in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, I decided to do it so as not to waste the space in the back. Nothing in the original physical structure of the truck was modified, only one function was added and, therefore, the originality of the vehicle was maintained.

Apparently, the model was inspired by the real-life M35A3 truck.

2 HOW TO INSTALL THE MOD?

The process is as follows:

1. Open Alci's IMG Editor (or another Img edit program);

2. Open gta3.img (with the program mentioned above);

3. Click on "Import (remove if exists)";

4. Select "barracks.dff" and "barracks.txd" (my mod);

5. When both "barracks.dff" and "barracks.txd" are already inside gta3.img, click "Save".

For the truck wheels to be in normal size, place the "vehicles.ide" file in the "data" folder which is located in your GTA San Andreas directory. Briefly, the process is as follows:

1. Enter the "data" folder which is located in the directory (main folder) of your GTA San Andreas;

2. Delete the file "vehicles.ide" or move it somewhere (if you want to keep it as a backup);

3. Extract the "vehicles.ide" file that is in the "Import to data" folder (my mod);

4. Move the file "vehicles.ide" to the folder "data" which is located in the directory (main folder) of your GTA San Andreas.

If you have Mod Loader and don't want to replace the "vehicles.ide" file, place the "Capuchin" folder inside the "modloader" folder. This will ensure the wheels are the correct size. In short, the process is as follows:

1. Extract the "Capuchin Guntruck" folder from the "Import to modloader" folder (my mod);

2. Move the "Capuchin Guntruck" folder to the "modloader" folder, which is located in the main folder of your GTA San Andreas.

3 NOTES

The model has realistic collision.

The headlights and taillights work.

The doors open and close in the same way as seen in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames.

The bonnet of the truck opens and closes.

The bumper is destructible.

The detailed interior has been preserved.

CJ is perfectly positioned in the cab.

Passengers in the back can shoot enemies with their own weapons and not with the .50 machine gun.

The model has perfect stability and agility on any terrain.

I would like to thank you for downloading my mod. If you are a fan of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames or have already played it, i hope you have fun and relive nostalgic moments of the game. If you are not a fan or have not yet played, in the same way, i hope you have fun with this addition to your GTA SA, causing chaos and among other things hehe.
